2 weeks, and over 5000 miles of fun and adventure. This was my first time riding out west on a motorcycle, but it won't be the last. Together, Ron Bien, Greg 'iWing' Hayden, Steve 'Polecat' Snead, Jay 'Ihavenoidea' & Jeanie Brewsaugh headed out to Montrose Colorado and beyond for the first Rockies Gold gathering. A gathering of riders from the gl1800riders board that  Dave 'Wingnutz' Turley organized for us. We spent a couple of days in Dave's hometown of Woodland Park and rode to the top of Pikes Peak, and toured some neat gold mining towns such as Cripple Creek.
